Courtiers
Historical background
Of particular interest are the various ranks of courtiers illustrated in the murals: from the State ministers, to scribes, spittoon-bearers, arm-bearers and a posse of other.

Description: Shiva, in the guise of a siddha, transforms the metal vessels into gold and the rudrakanya (dancing girl) fashions the images of Minakshi and Sundareshvara. (TP 36)
