Mythical rulers appear in the murals along historical figure such as Muthu Vijaya Raghunatha Setupati of Ramanathapuram

Description: After having met Sabari, Rama and Lakshmana arrive in Kishkindha and rest under a tree; Sugriva sends Hanuman to find out who they are.

Description: Once his chariot has been destroyed by Jatayu, Ravana proceeds towards Lanka carrying Sita on a plank (?); On her way there she drops her ornaments, which are collected by the monkeys living in Kishkindha.
